After Image, 2026

Official selection of TIFF 2026 Wavelengths Section 1

The retina holds impressions, or refractions of that which is no longer there; in After Image, the remains of memory are conjured through dialogue and poetry. An ambiguous sense of loss entwines itself within the textures of the everyday. Languages of absence and return are drawn between the filmmaker and her grandfather, both artists in conversation across time, geographies, and passages between states of being.
